cut-out paper dolls, kid recipes, dot-to-dot fun & more. |

Coloring Books Free
is mainly about coloring books and pages, but it also includes
hundreds of free flash games for children to provide hours of
fun and entertainment. The number of coloring pages,
dot-to-dot, activities number in the thousands of printable
PDF's. |

There is
still much to do and we are preparing the pages so
that kids can color pages through an online coloring
book, make their own personalized glitter text,
download children related graphics for those putting
together their own children related sites, or for
those making really anything related to kids where
they need child related graphics. Plus there's a bunch of
other fun kid things in the works.
Something
that we recently added is something we call the
"Free Coloring Page Widget" that you can see on the
left. It allows anyone with a web site or blog to
give away free coloring pages directly from their
site. All the graphics, code and the coloring pages
are hosted on Grandpa's server so visitors never have to
leave your site, they can view and print coloring
pages directly
from YOUR site. |

How did you get
involved in your particular "niche" for your chosen online
business. |
|

|
I visited other
free coloring book sites in the past and got tired of
jumping through hoops to "finally" get to the point where
I could print a coloring page. Many sites required that I
register first, or I'd have to click on a small graphic to
get to a larger graphic, then I'd have to click to agree
to the terms of the site and finally the coloring page
would come up so I could print it. I told my Grandpa about
it and he said there was a better way where kids could see
the page they want to color and then click to print it.
Two steps was the plan instead of a painful five steps
like I had to endure on some sites. See it and then print
it, yea now that's kid
friendly! |

What is your
favorite part or what do you like best about running your
own online business? |

My free
coloring book web site is open 24 hours a day, even when
I'm outside swimming, riding my bike or playing on the
swing set. |

What is your
biggest challenge as a webmaster & site owner and how do
you overcome it? |
|
|
|
|
I was the
creative director, whatever that is and Grandpa did the
webmaster stuff. He said the toughest part was taking the
individual 2600 total PDF's and getting them to work
smoothly in the coloring pages and dot-to-dot Adobe
portfolio viewer |

|
If you had to
do it all over again, what is the one thing you would
change if you could? |
|
|
|
|
I would have
added the free coloring page widget to the site sooner since it has a viral part to it
and would have spread news of my site earlier. It's a new
addition, I just wish I added it at the beginning is all. |

What would you
tell a person reading this about starting their own online business? |
|
|
|
|
I'm just a kid
and I'm investing into my future by rolling all the site
profits into my 529 college savings plan that Grandpa set
up for me. If I can do this with my Grandpa so I can pay
for my future college... then you can build a site to so you
can pay for your stuff too whatever it is you need money
for. |
